The Nookular Option: October 17, 2009

This week's show features an interview with Professor Richard Wolff, author of "Capitalism Hits the Fan: The Global Economic Meltdown and What to Do About It."  And, in the second half of the show, we chat with Susan Herman, president of the ACLU.  Susan will be delivering a lecture at the University of Toledo College of Law on October 29, 2009.  The lecture is titled "Civil Liberties in the Age of Obama," and analyzes "the actions taken thus far by the Obama administration, separating the rhetoric of campaign promises from the actions of a White House administration in areas such as ending military commissions and extraordinary rendition, closing Guantanamo Bay, and restoring habeas corpus."
