Red letter day on "The Nookular Option". WXUT's studio has been graced with...new chairs!!! No more sitting on split cushions with exposed, splintered wooden innards. Very sweet. First up, news on the climate change front -- scientists say that some ecosystems will change dramatically, and some climates may disappear altogether. Who will be the winners and losers of these changes? Next, the U.S. Attorney purge scandal heats up. Monica Goodwife pleads the Fifth -- a proud day for Regent Law School, manufacturer of nutty Bush loyalists and Geneva Convention deniers. Then, disgusted with the Bush administration, conservatives look back to the Reagan years as a golden ideal of conservatism. But are Bush and Reagan really so different? In the second half, Don and Chris are joined by Nico Pitney from the Center for American Progress, fresh from his duel with Pat Buchanan on Scarborough Country.
