Don and Chris celebrate, amongst other things, the arrival of sweet new headphones at WXUT's studio. But, isn't it more fun to complain about the old, crappy equipment? First, what do we make of the new, nicer Republican leadership? A cordial Bush and Cheney? Very bizzare. Then, will the "Iraq Study Group" help President Bush and the Congressional Dems chart a new course for Iraq policy? Next, Don and Chris run down the list of new Democratic policy proposals. In the second hour, we're very pleased to welcome Christy Harvey from the Center for American Progress. Christy is a self-described "de-wonkifier", and she breaks down the meaning of last week's decisive Democrat electoral victories, and the need for a stronger liberal/progressive media presence. In the last segment, Chris brings in an op-ed from the American Enterprise Institute, which prompts Don to issue a challenge to duel.
